Position: School Nurse (Part-Time)

Hope Academy seeks a caring, qualified part-time School Nurse to provide health services, promote wellness, and support a safe, nurturing environment for our diverse student body.

Brief Description:

HAB is seeking a part-time School Nurse for the second semester of the 2025/26 academic year (starting January 2026).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and current license/certification.
• At least two years of professional nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage emergencies and administer first aid and medication.
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a diverse international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and emergency care for students and staff, including when the school’s main nurse is unavailable.
• Maintain accurate health records and assist with medical supplies as needed.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding student health.
• Support school health education, prevention, and wellness efforts.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators to ensure student well-being.
